NewSchools is now accepting applications to fund the design of K-12 public schools — both district and charter — that bring to life an expanded definition of student success.
Funding is available to schools with a focus on excellence and equity that help students develop a strong academic foundation along with the other mindsets, habits and skills necessary for success in life.
In addition to a $215,000 planning grant, NewSchools provides management assistance and a national community of practice to help teams realize their new school visions. School districts, Latino leaders, virtual and hybrid school models, and models that guide students through the transition form high school to employment and continued learning are especially encouraged to apply.
Teams must apply by January 27, 2023. Interested individuals may also register to attend a webinar on Nov. 30.
