Funding Opportunities

George and Fay Young Foundation offers funding opportunities

The funder seeks to improve access to opportunity and strengthen communities through sustainable solutions.

The George and Fay Young Foundation provides grants to nonprofits operating in North Texas.

Founded as a charitable trust in 1985, The Foundation was established by George and Fay Young to support innovative and effective partner organizations.

The Foundation focuses funding on early childhood, primary and secondary education, as well as programs that foster self-reliance for families, support animal welfare. It also funds initiatives to address diabetes, vision loss or healthy living environments.

Requests are considered two times per-year, with application deadlines of April 15 and September 15. Funding amounts are dependent on the nature of the organization seeking a grant and the proposed budget for the project.

All inquiries should be directed to Foundation staff via email or phone rather than through a Letter of Inquiry.
