Communication exec joins Dallas TRHT

TRHT is a national effort with 14 place-based communities, including in North Texas.

Dallas TRHT (Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation) has hired a new manager of communications.

Daizha Lankford-Rioland will fulfill a variety of capacities, including photography, videography, social media and web management.

Launched in 2016, TRHT is a comprehensive, national and community-based process to plan for and bring about transformational and sustainable change. The organization seeks to address the historic and contemporary effects of racism.

A former arts administrator and an antiracist advocate, Lankford-Rioland was born and raised in Dallas. Her family has roots in Dallas’ Freedman’s Town area.

Lankford-Rioland previously served as Director of Operations and Communications for Dallas Arts District. She attended Hampton University and holds a degree in Strategic Communications.
