  • Communication exec joins Dallas TRHT

    Dallas TRHT (Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation) has hired a new manager of communications.

    Daizha Lankford-Rioland will fulfill a variety of capacities, including photography, videography, social media and web management.

    Launched in 2016, TRHT is a comprehensive, national and community-based process to plan for and bring about transformational and sustainable change. The organization seeks to address the historic and contemporary effects of racism.

    A former arts administrator and an antiracist advocate, Lankford-Rioland was born and raised in Dallas. Her family has roots in Dallas’ Freedman’s Town area.

    Lankford-Rioland previously served as Director of Operations and Communications for Dallas Arts District. She attended Hampton University and holds a degree in Strategic Communications.

  • Dallas Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation Partners with W.W. Caruth Jr. Fund

    Dallas Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT) has shared their partnership with W. W. Caruth, Jr. Fund of Communities Foundation of Texas to launch the inaugural class for their Racial Equity NOW Cohort.

    Partnering with the W. W. Caruth, Jr. Fund, to support, educate and build capacity for the community on the necessity of racial equity and policy implementation, Dallas TRHT will be hosting the Racial Equity NOW Cohort for 2019-2020. The Cohort is designed to provide organizations and their leadership with training/information sharing, case study presentations, policy review and development, outcomes development and site visit.
