Center for Transforming Lives Releases Study on Tarrant County Homeless Children

The Star-Telegram reports that a study released by the Center for Transforming Lives shows almost 15,000 homeless children living in Tarrant County. The report, “The Hidden Homeless: Early Childhood Homelessness in Tarrant County”, includes children staying at motels, shelters, other people’s home and in cars.

The report also points to the lack of affordable housing and childcare and that the current homeless service system isn’t equipped to handle the volume of homeless children.
