United Way of Tarrant County, located in Fort Worth, has shared that Patricia A. Linares, Ph.D., will serve as the new 2019-2020 campaign chairperson and Hadley Woerner as co-chair, officially kicking off their annual fundraising season.
As chair and co-chair, Linares and Woerner will work together to identify new companies to participate in United Way of Tarrant County’s annual campaign and build on relationships of current companies to increase financial support of the organization’s work in the community.
Dr. Linares is a former interim superintendent for Fort Worth and Crowley Independent School Districts. Currently, she is an adjunct professor at Texas State University as well as a senior consultant for JG Consulting Superintendent Search Firm.
Mr. Woerner serves as Tarrant County Regional President for Frost Bank and has been active in many community and professional organizations though the years. He is a past board chair and a current board member of Junior Achievement of the Chisholm Trail, treasurer of the Tarleton State University Foundation, and member of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce board of directors and investors council.
“Pat and Hadley have actively served in our community for many years, and I am confident they will help us reach our goals,” said TD Smyers, president and CEO of United Way of Tarrant County. “We are grateful for their leadership on our board and in our community, and we look forward to working with them on a successful campaign.”
