Funding Opportunities

The King Foundation community grant cycle opens soon

Funds are available for program and capital needs.

The Carl E. and Florence B. King Foundation’s community grant portal will open Nov. 1.

The King Foundation awards two types of grants each year to organizations from Arkansas, North Texas, and West Texas: Community Grants and Initiative Grants.

Nonprofits are asked to contact the Foundation at (214) 750-1884 about the program request before each Letter of Inquiry (LOI). The LOI deadline is Dec. 15 at 4:30 p.m. Applicants will be notified Feb. 1, 2023 if the LOI will advance to a full proposal. Grant awards will be announced in June.

Organizations with operations in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Rockwall and Tarrant Counties are eligible to apply. Giving categories include projects that aid the aging population, the arts, culture and history, children and youth, those who are economically disadvantaged and education.
