CCPD offers funds for programs to increase safety

Grants will be awarded based on the merits of the submission and availability of funds.

The Fort Worth Police Department seeks non-profit agencies to apply for Program Grants that reduce crime and increase safety.  Funding comes from the Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) for agencies that meet at least one of these goals:

  • Reduce violent crime
  • Reduce gang-related activities
  • Increase safety in neighborhoods
  • Decrease crime in neighborhoods
  • Increase the safety of youth
  • Reduce juvenile crime

Program Grants provide up to $300,000 over three years.

To apply, agencies must submit a Concept Paper by Nov. 30. Questions can be sent to pms@fortworthtexas.gov. Agencies may also call 817-392-4005 or check online for further information.
