The Dallas Entrepreneur Center receives $200k Bank of America Grant

Dallas Innovates reported that the Dallas Entrepreneur Center (The DEC) has been awarded a Bank of America Neighborhood Builders grant of $200,000.

Bank of America created Neighborhood Builders with the intent to provide nonprofits with the tools to successfully develop, in turn creating more sustainable communities. To help nonprofits make this impact, the program focuses on key areas: leadership, flexible funding, and peer networking.

The funding will go towards The DEC’s recent expansion, The DEC @ Redbird. The DEC @ Redbird is an extension of the Dallas Entrepreneur Center, a 501c3 that drives innovation and economic impact by helping entrepreneurs start, build and grow companies. We do this by providing co-working, education, mentorship, and advocacy.

The DEC @ Redbird hosted a Grand Opening Party on Thursday, Nov. 1 to celebrate its expansion.
