North Texas Commission says HB 3979 is bad for business

Charlene Stark, Senior Advisor for Strategic and Legislative Initiatives with the North Texas Commission, a regional nonprofit consortium of businesses, cities, counties, chambers of commerce and economic-development entities, speaks out against HB 3979 which would prohibit teachers from being required to teach controversial events or difficult social issues, including critical race theory.

Stark argues that Texas needs more diversity and inclusion education, not less.
