Rural Housing Preservation Grant

- Summary: The Housing Preservation Grant (HPG) program is a grant program which provides qualified public agencies, private nonprofit organizations, which may include but not be limited to, Faith-Based and Community Organizations, and other eligible entities grant funds to assist very low- and low-income homeowners in repairing and rehabilitating their homes in rural areas. In addition, the HPG program assists rental property owners and cooperative housing complexes in repairing and rehabilitating their units if they agree to make such units available to low- and very low-income persons.

Jobs Plus Grant

- Eligibility: Eligible applicants are only public housing authorities (PHAs) that operate one or more public housing projects (AMPs) that meet the criteria outlined in this NOFO (see Section II.A.4. Criteria for Eligible Public Housing Projects).
- Summary: The Jobs Plus program has three core components: employment related services, financial rent incentive, and community support for work (see Section III. A., Program Description). You will be expected to work with local partners to improve the program participants’ access to employment training/ skill building, financial literacy training, and direct hire job placements.

Funding for Services for Unaccompanied Immigrant Children

- Eligibility: Nonprofits, small businesses, for profit organizations, independent school districts, institutions of higher education, and city, state, tribal, special district, and county governments.
- Summary: The goal of the Residential (Group Home, Shelter, Transitional Foster Care (TFC)) Services for Unaccompanied Alien Children funding opportunity is to provide funding to organizations that can deliver high-quality and child-centered care, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children. Services must be available 24/7 with the ability to accept children at any time (as long as it aligns with state licensing requirements and is safe to do so). While children in ORR care are under the legal custody of the federal government, they are physically cared for by the care provider. In this funding opportunity, the term “care provider” refers to the prime recipient and, if applicable, its subrecipient.
