New philanthropy chief joins Center for Transforming Lives

The agency helps women and children live in safety, have the education to earn a living wage, and opportunities to build a secure financial future.

The Center for Transforming Lives, an organization based in Fort Worth that disrupts the cycle of poverty for women and their children, has a new Chief Philanthropy Officer.

Lisa M. Brown, CFRE joined the staff at the end of 2021. Prior to her new role, Brown served in a variety of positions at Texas Health Resources for 14 years. Most recently she held the job of Principal Gift Officer with the organization.

Brown also served on the board of the Aledo Education Foundation, and was a board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals for 10 years. A member of the 2020 class of Leadership Fort Worth, Brown also holds a certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
