Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance Plans First Summer Homeless Youth Count

Dallas News reports that The Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance Youth Committee and volunteers are planning to organize the first summer homeless youth count in Dallas and Collin counties.

The last count was done in February of this year and surveyed 183 youth ages 12-24 across Dallas, Mesquite, McKinney and Plano.

Organizers hope the survey will provide more data for the program’s partners to offer better services for the area’s homeless youth.

The homeless youth count will take place on June 17 and 21 in Dallas and Collin counties.
