Goodwill North Central Texas announced today that the organization has leased a new retail location in Mansfield, relocating its existing store to a significantly larger space to better serve the community and support its mission of changing lives through the power of work.
The new store will occupy 19,677 square feet at 989 N. Walnut Creek Drive, Suite 151, making it the largest Goodwill North Central Texas retail location. The expanded footprint reflects the organization’s growing donor base in the Mansfield area and an opportunity to increase community impact.
“This move is about more than a bigger store, it’s about expanding opportunity,” said David Cox, president and CEO of Goodwill North Central Texas. “Every donation and every purchase directly supports training, education and job placement services for people in our community. By expanding in Mansfield, we’re able to grow our mission, create jobs and serve more individuals who are working to build brighter futures.”
The new Mansfield location is expected to create 17 new jobs, including two mission-supported positions, while 12 current employees will relocate to the new store, bringing the total team to nearly 30 employees and further contributing to the local economy.
Construction on the remodel is already underway, with Premier One Renovation selected as the project’s primary contractor. The new store is expected to open to the public in early April 2026.
