Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth Names New Director of Employment

Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth, Inc. announced today that Renaldo Williams has been promoted to Director of Employment and Virtual Training Programs.

In this position, Mr. Williams will be responsible for directing staff and monitoring the day-to-day operation and activities for the organization’s six area Job Resource Centers and for North Texas Institute for Career Development’s (NTI) Virtual Training Programs.

Williams will oversee job placement and training programs that provide job readiness training, placement and retention services, as well as virtual credentialing targeted to people with barriers to obtaining and disadvantages to maintaining employment.

“Renaldo’s professional experience spans the government, nonprofit and education sectors where he has led teams to assist those less fortunate in achieving their individual life and career goals,said Romney Guy, Vice President of Workforce Development for Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth. “He is firm in his commitment to working with at-risk populations to attain a better life and will make a huge impact on our community through this position.”

Mr. Williams most recently served Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth as Supervisor, Career Centers. He also previously served Goodwill Industries of Dallas as Manager of the GoodGuides Mentor Program. A native of New Orleans, La., Williams earned a B.A. in Sociology from the University of New Orleans in 1993. In 2015, he earned a M.B.A. from Ashford University. He also serves as a board member of Winfree Academy Charter Schools and as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
