Communities in Schools Announces Promotion of Rachel Peters Kreidler

Community In Schools of Greater Tarrant County Inc. (CIS-GTC) has announced the promotion of Rachel Peters Kreidler as vice president of development.

Time is Running Out

Ms. Kreidler was promoted to her new leadership role in late May, after returning to CIS-GTC last December. She originally joined the nonprofit in 2014, where she served as director of events and marketing for nearly four years.

“The return of Rachel to Communities In Schools is a tremendous asset to our team,” shared Lindsey Garner, president and CEO. “Rachel’s relationships, creativity and events expertise have significantly grown our organization, both in awareness and sponsorships. As CIS-GTC expands to serve three new districts and seven additional campuses for the 2019-20 school year, it is imperative to increase financial support. The board and I have every confidence that Rachel is the perfect person to lead these critical efforts for at-risk students.”

Ms. Kreidler is a Fort Worth native, holding a bachelor’s degree in history/art history from Texas Christian University. Her previous work experience includes 360 West Magazine, Fort Worth Star-Telegram and INDULGE magazine.
