Cafe Momentum plans expansion for community services center

Dallas Morning News reported that Café Momentum is currently under construction on a expansion project that will serve as a community services center for youth.

The new center has been in the works since 2015, but Café Momentum just signed a lease to rent the new space this year. According to Dallas Morning News, about $190,000 of the $450,000 needed for renovations has been raised.

Café Momentum’s founder, CEO, and executive chef Chad Houser was recently featured on CNN Heroes, a program that highlights everyday people doing extraordinary things to change the world. View his feature here.
