The AWARE Fund of The Dallas Foundation is accepting grant applications for the 2023 grant cycle through Jan. 9, 2023.
AWARE is dedicated to fighting Alzheimer’s disease by providing funding and support to programs, projects, and research provided by nonprofit organizations that actively help all individuals affected by Alzheimer’s disease in Dallas and the greater North Texas area.
Grants up to $50,000 are available in the following areas of programs and services: Patient Care Services, Research, Educational Outreach, Arts-based Community Outreach, Patient and Caregiver Respite. Funds can be used for operating support, research costs, program and services costs, as well as salaries for full-time or part-time employees.
Only single year grants are available. Site visits are required and will be conducted between early February and late March. Grant recipients will be notified in May 2023.
No LOI is required. Grants awarded in the spring of 2023 will receive funds in early 2024. Applications can be submitted online.
