Volunteer Pleads Guilty to Theft from Mansfield Youth Baseball Association

The Star-Telegram reports that a volunteer stole more than $295,000 from the Mansfield Youth Baseball Association.

Jennifer Sue Witteveen served as the organization’s treasurer for seven years. During this time she made unauthorized withdrawals and wrote fake checks.

Ms. Witteveen pled guilty to a first-degree felony theft charge and faces eight years in prison.
