United Way of Tarrant County Presents Corporate Philanthropy Awards on Sep 26 – Nominations Now Open

United Way of Tarrant County will present the inaugural Corporate Philanthropy Awards on Sep. 26, 2018. Nominations are now open for individuals who are involved in giving back to the community and small, midsize and large companies based on corporate and employee giving.

Nominations can be made from within or outside your organization. Details on each award category are below.

Philanthropist of the Year Award

This award will recognize a company or individual who has gone above and beyond to support nonprofit efforts in Fort Worth or Tarrant County.

Leadership Award

This award will recognize an executive who is a champion of charity within the workplace, meaning this individual encourages others at work to donate time and/or money to worthy causes in Fort Worth or Tarrant County.

Excellent Citizenship Award

This award will recognize a member of a non-profit board of directors who goes above and beyond to serve a non-profit organization in Fort Worth or Tarrant County.

Outstanding Volunteer Award

This award will recognize an employee who has made volunteering a priority and perhaps encourages others to do the same in Fort Worth or Tarrant County.

Young Professional Award

This award will recognize a young professional (under the age of 40) who has a passion for giving back to the Fort Worth/Tarrant County community and represents the next generation of givers.

Service to those who Served Award

This award will recognize a company or individual who contributes greatly (time and/or resources) to military and veteran causes in Fort Worth or Tarrant County.

Children’s Champion Award

This award will recognize a company or individual who contributes greatly (time and/or resources) to causes benefiting children in Fort Worth or Tarrant County.

Nomination forms include space to describe your company in detail, as the event will also be recognizing small, midsize and large companies based on corporate and employee giving, as well as local employee volunteer hours served.
