United Way of Metropolitan Dallas announced Hillary E. Evans will join the organization as their new vice president of policy and advocacy. Hillary joins United Way Dallas on the heels of an important City of Dallas bond election and brings a wealth of knowledge as former vice president of professional learning and public policy at Philanthropy Southwest.
Evans has also served previously as the founding executive director of After8toEducate, Dallas’ first-ever residential services and drop-in center serving Dallas Independent School District high schoolers experiencing homelessness and housing instability.
