The Charles Mott Foundation is offering grants to USA nonprofit organizations for programs and projects that promote education. Funding is intended to support efforts to expand learning opportunities and supports for children, particularly those from low‑and-moderate-income communities.
The foundation is currently accepting letters of inquiry.
The Arts Council of Fort Worth has shared they have been selected to manage the Fort Worth Public Improvement District (FWTPID) Cultural Initiative Grant on behalf of Visit Fort Worth.
Last year a total of $225,000 FWTPID grant funds were awarded to 12 organizations that cumulatively generated over 50,000 hotel room night stays for the City.
Applications for the 2019/2020 grant cycle are due on August 14 by 4:00 pm.

The Texas Women’s Foundation has announced the H100 Latina Giving Circle at Texas Women’s Foundation has officially launched and joins three other giving circles hosted at Texas Women’s Foundation: Orchid Giving Circle, HERitage Giving Fund and The Village Giving Circle.
The H100 Latina Giving Circle was formed by the Hispanic 100 Network to further engage Latinas in philanthropy and to expand resources for local organizations whose mission is to empower, educate and support Latinas and the community. The Hispanic 100 is a network of trailblazing Latina leaders in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The Hispanic 100 Network is contributing $50,000 as a matching gift to launch the Circle, so all gifts will be matched up to that amount.

For over a decade, we have supported many non-profit organizations through our annual grants cycle. Through the collaborative relationship at Texas Women’s Foundation, we are positively impacting the future of Latinas especially, young Latinas; and, that is good news for the North Texas community and beyond.”

The H100 Latina Giving Circle is open to anyone who has a desire to join a legacy of philanthropy that creates positive change by investing in the lives of young Latinas. Donors of the H100 Latina Giving Circle have the opportunity to give, connect and participate in the grant making process with a range of opportunities to review, vet and vote on a selection of grantees.
The US Housing & Urban Development (HUD) department is offering grants to address the housing and service needs of victims of human trafficking.
Applications are due October 30.
The Mockingbird Foundation is offering grants ranging from $100 to $10,000 to USA nonprofit organizations and schools for programs that provide music education to children and youth. Organizations that take innovative approaches, operate with a low overhead, and demonstrate collaborative elements in their work are of particular interest.
Proposals are due August 1.
The TechFoundation is offering grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 to USA nonprofit organizations for technology purchases. Funds may be used to purchase software, hardware, or services. Consideration will be given to proposals that will address specific issues, make improvements, and strengthen organizations.
Applications are due July 31.
The Hidden Leaf Foundation is offering grants of up to $50,000 to nonprofit organizations to help increase their effectiveness. A letter of inquiry is required prior to submission of a full application. Funding is intended to promote social change work and advance the progressive movement.
Letters are due July 1.
The National Science Foundation (NSF) is offering grants of up to one million to USA nonprofits to increase representation of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) careers. Funding is intended to promote equity in STEM field recruitment, retention, and career advancement at academic institutions and workplaces.
Letters of Intent are due November 1.
The Mitsubishi Foundation is offering grants ranging from $10,000 to $75,000 to USA nonprofit organizations for projects that benefit youth with disabilities.
Projects should help youth develop skills needed for successful employment, especially for work in the areas of science, technology, engineering, arts and design, and mathematics. The Foundation will also consider projects that create tools to break down barriers to employment and increase job opportunities for young people with disabilities entering the workforce, including returning veterans with disabilities.
Proposals are due June 15.
