The Fort Worth Business Press reports that the Rainwater Charitable Foundation, located in Fort Worth, has announced the first recipients for the Outstanding Innovation in Neurodegenerative Research and the Rainwater Prize for Innovative Early-Career Scientists.
Dr. Michel Goedert (Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, UK) and Dr. Patrick Hsu (University of California, Berkeley) were selected on October 22.
The Rainwater Charitable Foundation is one of the largest independent funders of neurodegenerative disease research.
