North Texas foundations donate funds for Uvalde victims

The local funders have also made a resource available that helps the community support Uvalde victims.

The Dallas Foundation is teaming with Communities Foundation of Texas to make contributions benefiting victims of the shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde and their families.

Funds will be disbursed through two local community foundations. Donations will be made to the Uvalde strong Fund at The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, and the Uvalde Strong Survivors Fund at the San Antonio Area Foundation.

A statement from the Dallas Foundation also invites its fundholders and community partners to do the same, and to consider other actionable ways they can ensure unnecessary acts of violence do not continue. Fundholders at The Dallas Foundation can make grants directly from their donor advised fund online.

Additionally, a community resource page has been made available with additional ways to support the Uvalde community.
