The North Texas Community Foundation (NTCF) shared their WORTH members have awarded grants to two local nonprofits – The Leg Up Program located on East Lancaster Street in Fort Worth and Arlington Charities, Inc.
According to NTCF’s website, WORTH is a group of informed givers making a collective impact through experiential grant making. Every year young professionals ages 25-40 learn about needs in the community, choose a focus area, review proposals from nonprofits working in that space, and collectively decide on who to fund. After making a grant, members follow up with a site visit to the nonprofit(s) they funded.
