Miles of Freedom CEO featured as latest hero on Dallas Heroes Project

Dallas Heroes Project celebrates local heroes, educating citizens on critical issues facing the city, and enabling them to take social action to make a positive impact in the city of Dallas. This month, the organization chose to feature Richard Miles, a Dallas local and founder & CEO of the nonprofit Miles of Freedom.

Miles created Miles of Freedom after spending 15 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. The nonprofit is dedicated to helping people transition to life after prison.

Miles is featured as a hero because he was able to take his experience and turn it around to help others who are in need.
