The Fort Worth Business reports that the Kimbell Art Foundation, located in Fort Worth, will release the new book, Of the First Class: A History of the Kimbell Art Museum, the first week of October.
The book details the history of the Kimbell Art Museum and will be available in the museum’s gift shop on October 4, which is the 47th anniversary of the museum’s opening.
The museum will also debut a documentary to accompany the book. The film will debut on October 5 at 10:30 am. The film will continue to run in the Pavilion Auditorium throughout the weekend.
