NBC5 reports that the Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation, located in Fort Worth, is providing training to nearly 1,000 Fort Worth firefighters to recognize suicide risk.
Due to the stress of their jobs, more firefighters and police officers are at a higher risk for suicide.
The QPR training stands for “Question, Persuade, and Refer.”
