GSI Announces Appointment of Tony Aquila to Board of Directors

Board Expansion Provides New Potential for Agency

Fort Worth, Texas: September 24, 2020 – Guardianship Services, Inc., a Tarrant County-based nonprofit which has provided guardianship and supports and services for at-risk adults since 1985, is proud to introduce the appointment of Tony Aquila to the Board of Directors, bringing unique and valuable perspective to the agency.

Tony Aquila is an inventor, serial entrepreneur and philanthropist who intently pursues opportunities to protect society. He is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of AFV Partners, a low-leverage capital vehicle that invests in long-term software and data businesses headquartered in Argyle, Texas. He is Chairman of the Board of the Aircraft Performance Group and RocketRoute. Most recently, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of Canoo. Prior, Tony founded Solera Holdings Inc. in 2005, and led it as Chairman and CEO until 2019.

Tony has held several international board, joint venture and advisory mandates as a global expert in mobility, as well as a wide area of high-tech companies, including digital identity, sports information and the artificial and industrial blockchain space. He was the recipient of the prestigious National EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2013 Technology Award.
