Food drive benefits Irving Cares

The initiative is in honor of NDBT’s Las Colinas branch’s 25th anniversary.

North Dallas Bank & Trust Co. Las Colinas Banking Center recently unveiled a new “25 for 25” pledge commitment of collecting 25,000 pounds of canned food for Irving Cares.

Irving Cares provides focused assistance for Irving residents to address a financial crisis. Founded in 1957, Irving Cares is funded through individuals, faith communities, corporations, foundations, limited government grants, and the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and Communities Foundation of Texas.

NDBT established an initiative known as NDBT Cares in 2019 to create a more formalized and strategic approach to supporting its community partners with a variety of meaningful endeavors, such as providing financial literacy, supplying food and school supplies for needy families, or raising awareness on the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Last year, NDBT’s community engagement through NDBT Cares produced more than 130 employee service hours with pledged donations in excess of $487,000 benefiting approximately 80 organizations.
