Civic Development looking to grow hands-on programs at Doss Center

The Weatherford Star Telegram reports that Civic Development, a nonprofit organization in Parker County is looking to raise funds in order to enhance and expand on existing hands-on programs at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center in Weatherford. The Museum features interactive learning programs and summer camp activities focused on Texas history, rodeo history, shop class, and most recently an archaeology workshop. The organization has set an initial goal to raise $150,000 this year and continue to grow in the future.
