The Dallas News reports that Café Momentum, located in Dallas, is planning a national launch with the help of former National Football League running back Shaun Alexander and the Stand Together Foundation established by Charles Koch.
Café Momentum provides a 12-month paid internship for young men and women coming out of juvenile facilities. The employees learn all aspects of the restaurant during the program.
The Stand Together Foundation vets, trains and funds nonprofits to help them deepen and grow their impact through innovative solutions to break barriers for people in poverty.
