Fox 4 News reports that After8toEducate has opened a youth center for homeless students in Dallas Independent School District. This is the first youth center strictly for homeless teens in the nation.
The Fannie C. Harris Homeless Students Youth Center is named after one of three black educators hired to teach at the first high school in Dallas for black students.
