ACH Child and Family Services Partner to Offer Opportunities for Foster Youth

ACH Child and Family Services, located in Fort Worth, has shared their partnership with the City of Arlington and the Texas Workforce Commission to offer employment opportunities to youth transitioning out of foster care.

Twenty-five percent of youth aging out of foster care will experience homelessness and/or the criminal justice system by age 22 without help. The program will provide support and training to the young people who will work as meter readers and learn other water operation roles as they try to earn certification as a water operator from the Texas Commission on Environment Quality.
