ACH Announces New Chief Development Officer

ACH Child and Family Services has announced that Dixie Mullins will join the Fort Worth-based nonprofit executive team effective April 1. As Chief Development Officer, she will lead teams in advancing child welfare through best practices in both philanthropy and marketing.

Prior to joining ACH, Ms. Mullins served as Chief Development Officer for Health for the University of Houston, where she led a high-performing team as part of the University’s $1 Billion “Here, We Go” Campaign. She has also served as Senior Vice President for Advancement at DePelchin Children’s Center – a leading child welfare agency in Houston, Texas, and Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations, Annual Giving and University Events at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston.

Dixie has strong ties to the Fort Worth Community where she served as Director of Development for the Harris Methodist Health Foundation from 1998 to 2007. Dixie is a graduate of Mississippi State University where she earned her Master of Business Administration degree.  Dixie has also held the professional designation of Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) through CFRE International since 2007 and is a Fellow in Charitable Estate Planning (FCEP.)
