Academy 4, located in Fort Worth, has announced Mr. Terrence Butler has joined the agency as their new Director of Development.
Mr. Butler comes to Academy 4 with five years of experience serving as the Assistant Director for HOPE Farm, Como location. Most recently, he worked as the founding Executive Director for Rivertree Academy. There, he led efforts to create a Christian Private School for the children of Lake Como, Pre-K – 5th grade, who typically could not afford a private school education.
“I was attracted by the company’s mission to impact the lives of 4th graders by building meaningful relationships through mentoring,” Butler said. “I believe that mentoring can create change by increasing the possibilities for students living in at risk communities and will open the door to a brighter future.”
Mr. Butler’s role will include overseeing all fundraising activities including, major gifts, planned- giving, special events and annual campaigns. He will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing fundraising and business development strategies throughout Tarrant County and Austin, Texas.
Mr. Butler will be replacing Mr. Michael McMahon as he retires later this year.
