Economic Mobility Center names new CEO

Written by DFW501c Reporter

Economic Mobility Center welcomes Megan Aghazadian as the next Chief Executive Officer. Megan brings 20 years of experience building organizations and advancing systems change in education and economic mobility. As Deputy Commissioner of Operations at the Texas Education Agency, she aligned a complex agency and Texas’ 20 Education Service Centers around shared priorities. Most recently, as Co-Founder and Principal of Loom Consulting, she partnered with school districts, higher education, nonprofits, and philanthropy across Texas to turn strategy into action.

A systems architect and people-centered leader, Megan shares the belief that lasting impact comes from strong teams, trusted partnerships, disciplined execution, and a culture of care.

Her arrival marks the next step as EMC expands its impact in Dallas County and across Texas. As part of this transition, founder Eric J. Ban Ed.D. becomes Founder and Chief Innovation Officer, focusing on innovation, growth, and business development.
