Serve Denton announces new Development Director

The Denton Record Chronicle reported that Serve Denton has announced the hire of Julie Elliott, who will serve as the organization’s development director.

Elliott graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in emergency administration and planning. She previously served as the organization’s communications intern.

In her new position, Elliot will be responsible for the organization’s grant program and developing relationships with donors.

The organization’s vision is to develop property projects in Denton, like The Wheeler House and the Serve Denton Center where nonprofits pay significantly lower rent compared to commercial office space and share costs, sending more of the dollars our community gives straight to the people who need it most.
