The Arlington Foundation for Excellence in Education (AFEE) has been serving Arlington, Texas, and its surrounding communities for almost 20 years. AFEE is a non-profit organization that focuses on developing area youth through career and college preparedness, leadership training, advocacy, and financial support through scholarship awards.

AFEE’s 20th Anniversary Celebration at Arlington’s beautiful Levitt Pavilion is a free community event that you do not want to miss. The event will feature N’Tense the Band featuring Sean G., food and beverages from local food trucks, and resources from local vendors. Past performers at the Outdoor Stage include KC and the Sunshine Band, Blaine Mitchell, Elaina Kay, and Tank & the Bangers. The event is free and open to the public for general admission, and it will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 2-6:00 pm.

As a staple in Arlington for 20 years, AFEE members have worked tirelessly to make a positive impact on the community and develop an understanding of civic responsibility for our members through the process of serving others. Our efforts have paid dividends in the form of our programs’ tangible impacts on the community, awarding over 40 scholarships to area students in 2023 and outreach through programming to more than 5,000 residents of Arlington and surrounding communities.
