Take steps at 2024 NAMIWalks North Texas to raise awareness for mental health and stop the stigma. The walk also celebrates mental health recovery, honors those who have lost their lives to mental health conditions and raises funds for the nonprofit. This year’s goal is to raise more than $150,000. NAMIWalks North Texas includes a resource fair, activities for kids, and free parking. The fundraiser is pet-friendly. Founded in 1982, NAMI North Texas, a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible nonprofit organization, advocates for equitable access to mental health services, treatment, supports and research and is steadfast in its commitment to raise awareness and build a community of hope for all of those in need. Serving Dallas, Collin, Denton, and Rockwall counties, NAMI North Texas provides essential and free education, advocacy and support group programs.
