YMCA of Metro Fort Worth adds new chief exec

The nonprofit leader brings expertise in health and fitness management, leadership development and strategic planning.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth has hired its first Chief Xperience Officer.

Alfredo Salcedo, M.A., M.S., will work to create quality experiences in all areas, including membership, aquatics, wellness and community.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth was established in 1890, when Fort Worth was just a frontier town. It is part of a worldwide organization dedicated to putting Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The organization has 13 branches, one sports complex and a resident camp that today continue the organization’s cause of strengthening communities through encouraging youth development, emphasizing healthy living and inspiring social responsibility.

Salcedo holds degrees in Child Development and Kinesiology from California State University.
