Women United issue RFP

United Way of Tarrant County’s Women United network harnesses the power and
dedication of women leaders to transform local communities.

The Women’s Fund is dedicated to funding initiatives that support women and girls in Tarrant County.  This RFP is specifically targeting the issue of intergenerational poverty in Tarrant County with an emphasis on addressing equity gaps in affordable housing, education, health, transportation and financial stability.

The 2023 Women United Request for Proposals is now available.

The Women’s Fund is dedicated to funding initiatives that support women and girls in Tarrant County. This RFP is specifically targeting the issue of intergenerational poverty in Tarrant County with an emphasis on addressing equity gaps in the areas below as they specifically impact women and/or girls:

  1. Affordable Housing, emphasis on families at risk—episodically and/or chronically experiencing homelessness.
  2. Education, emphasis on quality childcare, early childhood education/literacy,
    college/career/workforce readiness and/or college completion.
  3. Health, emphasis on physical, behavioral, emotional and/or mental health.
  4. Transportation, emphasis on transit to medical appointments, employment and/or school.
  5. Financial Stability, emphasis on financial health/capability, access to emergency funds and/or career/workforce development.

The grant application deadline is Friday, January 27, 2023.
