W.W. Caruth, Jr. Fund Awards Social Innovation Grants

The Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) shared that 15 nonprofit organizations have been awarded a total of $6.3 million in grants from CFT’s W.W. Caruth, Jr. Fund. Based in Dallas, the foundation is the custodian of the Caruth Fund which focuses on the areas of education, public safety, health, and medical and scientific research.

The grants range in size from $70,000 to $500,000. They will serve residents across the Dallas Metroplex, with a strong emphasis on high poverty areas.
