UTA Receives Funding for New Social Work Building

The Star-Telegram reports that the University of Texas System Board of Regents has approved $60 million for a new social work building for the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA).

The new building will house UTA’s School of Social Work and the College of Nursing and Health Innovation’s Smart Hospital.

The funding comes from the Permanent University Fund which receives income from oil and gas royalties in West Texas.
