UT Dallas Public and Nonprofit Management Program Promotes Dr. James Harrington

The University of Texas (UT) Dallas Public and Nonprofit Management program shared Dr. James Harrington has been promoted to Associate Professor. Harrington has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Public and Nonprofit Management since 2013. He received his Ph.D. in Public Affairs from the University of Missouri’s Truman School of Public Affairs in 2013. 
Dr. Harrington’s areas of specialization include Accountability Reforms, Performance Management, Performance Data Usage, Policy Evaluation, Social Media and Education Governance. He has published several peer-reviewed papers in journals, at conferences, and at workshops. He is currently working on a book that will be published later this year.

Dr. James Harrington is well-respected by students and faculty and is famous for his sense of humor. He is the recipient of the Graduate Teaching Award (2018), Economics, Political, and Policy Sciences Comet Teaching Award (2016), and EPPS Outstanding Teaching Comet Award (2014-2015).
