United Way of Tarrant County announced Ebony Jones as chair of its Women United network, a group of like-minded women building stronger communities through the funding of initiatives that support women and girls in Tarrant County.
Jones, who serves as executive partner for E-Squared, will lead the Women United steering committee in a term concluding in June 2024. Previously, Jones served as vice- chair on the committee.
“I am truly honored to serve Women United’s Steering Committee as chair. The work we’re doing to pave a brighter path for women and girls in Tarrant County is deeply meaningful for me,” said Jones. “I am proud of the impact we’ve made and hope to do much more in the year ahead.”
As Women United chair, she will serve as an ambassador and advocate for Women United in the community and as a member of the United Way of Tarrant County Board of Directors.
Jones joined Women United in 2021. She has over 20 years of experience working in the education and nonprofit fields. In addition to her role with Women United, she currently serves on the board of Leadership Fort Worth, Tarrant County’s Blue Ribbon Action Committee on Childcare, and the advisory council of Fort Worth Report.
