Jennifer Baggs Kamacioglu will chair the group of like-minded women building stronger communities through the funding of initiatives that support women and girls in Tarrant County.
“After serving on the Women United Steering Committee for a year, I kept thinking about how to grow Women United and engage more women to bring additional awareness and resources to the needs of women and girls in our community,” said Baggs Kamacioglu. “The funding of Women United provides impact grants to area agencies that help solve Tarrant County women’s and girls’ toughest challenges. I am looking forward to working alongside the rest of the steering committee to make a difference.”
As Women United chair, she will serve as an ambassador and advocate for Women United in the community and serve as a member of the United Way of Tarrant County Board of Directors.
Baggs Kamacioglu joined Women United in 2021 after attending a Women United Investing in Impact luncheon. She has worked as a commercial banker in Fort Worth for 27 years. A graduate of Leadership Fort Worth in 2005, she is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Fort Worth, Inc., and currently serves on the boards of directors for the Multicultural Alliance and the Women’s Center of Tarrant County.
“I am looking forward to the year ahead and seeing all Jennifer accomplishes with Women United in her role as chair,” said Leah M. King, president and CEO of United Way of Tarrant County. “This group of female leaders is dedicated to creating more opportunities for the women and girls in our community, and I’m proud to have Jennifer leading those efforts.”
