United Way of Tarrant County issues Safety Net RFP

Since 2019, the organization has allocated nearly $9 million to address basic needs and financial stability, education/workforce, mental, emotional and physical health, affordable housing/homelessness, and transportation.

The United Way of Tarrant County (UWTC) is now soliciting funding proposals. The deadline to attend a mandatory bidder’s conference session is March 10 at 8:30 a.m.

UWTC released the application for Opportunity for All of Tarrant County (Safety Net) 2022-23 on March 4. The initiative provides funding to address ongoing critical needs among the community, especially disparities exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Attendees can RSVP to Chris.Alvarado@unitedwaytarrant.org for the link to the mandatory bidder’s conference. The deadline to apply for this one-year grant opportunity is April 4. Awardees will be informed May 18 and the funding period is July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023.
