The Star-Telegram reports that the Timber Creek Girls Soccer Program has raised over $100,000 since 2012 to support Community Hospice of Texas, located in Fort Worth.
The Keller Timber girls’ soccer coach, Mike King, and his family began dedicating the proceeds of their annual tournament in honor of his father, Rex King, who passed away from cancer in 2011.
Eight varsity teams and 24 junior varsity teams will make up the 2020 season tournament.
