The Net FW Announces Purchase of New Home for Social Enterprise

The Net FW shared on their Facebook page that they have closed on a 2600 square -foot home as part of their The Net Capital Campaign to expand their social enterprise, The Worthy Co.

The Net is a five year-old nonprofit based in Fort Worth, that offers women survivors of trafficking, prostitution and addiction a supportive community of advocates. The Net has reached and supported over 600 women in North Texas who have been trafficked or exploited.

The Worthy Co. employs program participants to make candle and jewelry products. The Net provides the women a safe working environment with trauma-informed volunteers to help them gain experience and earn income as they develop the skills needed to reenter the workforce.
